Biography of Damo Suzuki
Damo Suzuki is a singer and musician, best known as the former vocalist of the German band Can. In the late 1960s, Suzuki traveled across Europe, performing as a street musician. During this time, the vocalist Malcolm Mooney left Can, creating an opening for a new vocalist in the band. Holger Czukay and Jaki Liebezeit, members of Can, happened to come across Damo Suzuki while sitting in a café in Munich, where he was singing on the street. Impressed by his talent, Suzuki was immediately invited to join the band and made his debut as their vocalist at a concert on the same evening.
Suzuki was a member of Can from 1970 to 1973 and contributed to several highly acclaimed albums like "Tago Mago" and "Ege Bamyasi". His singing style was characterized by improvised and partially incomprehensible lyrics, often in a mixture of langua
